Bibarel 121/172 · Brilliant Stars

Bibarel is Pokédex #400, generation 4 (Sinnoh). Bibarel is a Stage 1 Colorless Pokémon with 120 HP. The card says it evolves from Bidoof. In this catalog that name is Bidoof (#399).

Bibarel sits at 121/172 in Brilliant Stars, position 121 of 186. Before it is 120 Bidoof, and after it is 122 Arceus V. The set belongs to the Sword & Shield series. It was released on February 25, 2022. The printed size is 172. This checklist is longer, at 186 cards. The listed rarity is Rare Holo.

Industrious Incisors is listed as Ability. Once during your turn, you may draw cards until you have 5 cards in your hand. The attack Tail Smash lists 100 damage. The cost is Colorless, Colorless, Colorless. Flip a coin. If tails, this attack does nothing. Weakness is Fighting ×2. Retreat cost is 2. The flavor text reads "It makes its nest by damming streams with bark and mud. It is known as an industrious worker." The regulation mark is F.

Bibarel (#400) has 11 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 11 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2007 to 2023. The earliest other card is Bibarel 20/130 in Diamond & Pearl (2007). That card lists 100 HP, and this one lists 120 HP. The rarity there is Rare, and here it is Rare Holo. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and OKACHEKE illustrated this one. 7 other cards of Bibarel list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads OKACHEKE. I count 59 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Brilliant Stars set binder is where a full Brilliant Stars set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Bibarel can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). I still need this card.
