Bisharp 65/86 · Black Bolt

Bisharp is Pokédex #625, generation 5 (Unova). Bisharp is a Stage 1 Metal Pokémon with 120 HP. The card says it evolves from Pawniard. In this catalog that name is Pawniard (#624).

Bisharp sits at 65/86 in Black Bolt, position 65 of 171. Before it is 64 Pawniard, and after it is 66 Cobalion. The set belongs to the Scarlet & Violet series. It was released on July 18, 2025. The printed size is 86. This checklist is longer, at 171 cards. The listed rarity is Uncommon.

The attack Cut Up lists 40 damage. The cost is Metal. Finishing Blow is another attack lists 60+ damage. The cost is Metal, Colorless. If your opponent's Active Pokémon already has any damage counters on it, this attack does 60 more damage. Weakness is Fire ×2. Resistance is Grass -30. Retreat cost is 2. The flavor text reads "It leads a group of Pawniard. It battles to become the boss, but will be driven from the group if it loses." The regulation mark is I.

Bisharp (#625) has 21 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 18 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2011 to 2026. The earliest other card is Bisharp 76/101 in Noble Victories (2011). That card lists 90 HP, and this one lists 120 HP. Both list the rarity Uncommon. Kouki Saitou illustrated that card, and Oku illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 1, and here it is 2. 14 other cards of Bisharp list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Oku. I count 11 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Black Bolt set binder is where a full Black Bolt set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Bisharp can fill a slot in Generation 5 binder (Unova). I still need this card.
