Lapras 25/99 · Next Destinies

Lapras is Pokédex #131, generation 1 (Kanto). Lapras is a Basic Water Pokémon with 100 HP.

Lapras sits at 25/99 in Next Destinies, position 25 of 103. Before it is 24 Starmie, and after it is 26 Lapras. The set belongs to the Black & White series. It was released on 8 February 2012. The printed size is 99. This checklist is longer, at 103 cards. The listed rarity is Rare.

The attack Call for Family lists no damage number. The cost is Water. Search your deck for up to 2 Basic Pokémon and put them onto your Bench. Shuffle your deck afterward. Reckless Charge is another attack lists 40 damage. The cost is Colorless, Colorless. This Pokémon does 20 damage to itself. Weakness is Lightning ×2. Retreat cost is 2. The flavor text reads "It loves crossing the sea with people and Pokémon on its back. It understands human speech."

Lapras (#131) has 49 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 37 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2026. The earliest other card is Lapras 10/62 in Fossil (1999). That card lists 80 HP, and this one lists 100 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Rare. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and Kouki Saitou illustrated this one. 48 other cards of Lapras list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Kouki Saitou. I count 652 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Next Destinies set binder is where a full Next Destinies set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Lapras can fill a slot in Generation 1 binder (Kanto). I still need this card.
