Giratina V 186/196 · Lost Origin

Giratina is Pokédex #487, generation 4 (Sinnoh). Giratina V is a Basic V Dragon Pokémon with 220 HP.

Giratina V sits at 186/196 in Lost Origin, position 186 of 217. Before it is 185 Giratina V, and after it is 187 Hisuian Goodra V. The set belongs to the Sword & Shield series. It was released on 9 September 2022. The printed size is 196. This checklist is longer, at 217 cards. The listed rarity is Rare Ultra.

The attack Abyss Seeking lists no damage number. The cost is Colorless. Look at the top 4 cards of your deck and put 2 of them into your hand. Put the other cards in the Lost Zone. Shred is another attack lists 160 damage. The cost is Grass, Psychic, Colorless. This attack's damage isn't affected by any effects on your opponent's Active Pokémon. Retreat cost is 2. The card text says: V rule: When your Pokémon V is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards. The regulation mark is F.

Giratina (#487) has 29 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 15 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2007 to 2023. The earliest other card is Giratina LV.X DP38/56 in DP Black Star Promos (2007). That card is named Giratina LV.X, while this one is Giratina V. That card lists 130 HP, and this one lists 220 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Rare Ultra. Shizurow illustrated that card, and Shinji Kanda illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 3, and here it is 2. 26 other cards of Giratina list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Shinji Kanda. I count 25 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Lost Origin set binder is where a full Lost Origin set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Giratina can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). Themed lists that include this exact card are Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina. I still need this card.
