SWSH Black Star Promos is a set in the Sword & Shield series. It was released on 15 November 2019. The printed size is 307. This checklist is longer, at 304 cards. Infernape V is a Basic V Fire Pokémon with 200 HP. In the Pokédex this is Infernape (#392), generation 4 (Sinnoh).

Ayaka Yoshida illustrated this card. The same name is on 128 other cards in the catalog.

Infernape (#392) has 16 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 13 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2007 to 2024. The earliest other card is Infernape 5/130 in Diamond & Pearl (2007). That card is named Infernape, while this one is Infernape V. That card lists 100 HP, and this one lists 200 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Promo. Nakaoka illustrated that card, and Ayaka Yoshida illustrated this one. 16 other cards of Infernape list a different HP.

The attack Meteor Punch lists 30× damage. The cost is Colorless. Flip a coin until you get tails. This attack does 30 damage for each heads. Bright Flame is another attack lists 200 damage. The cost is Fire, Fire, Colorless. Discard 2 Energy from this Pokémon. Weakness is Water ×2. The card text says: V rule: When your Pokémon V is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards. The regulation mark is F.

I keep a set binder for SWSH Black Star Promos, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the SWSH Black Star Promos set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Infernape can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). Themed lists that include this exact card are Sinnoh starters. I still need this card.
