Xatu 56/113 · Legendary Treasures

Xatu is Pokédex #178, generation 2 (Johto). Xatu is a Stage 1 Psychic Pokémon with 90 HP. The card says it evolves from Natu. In this catalog that name is Natu (#177).

Xatu sits at 56/113 in Legendary Treasures, position 56 of 140. Before it is 55 Natu, and after it is 57 Misdreavus. The set belongs to the Black & White series. It was released on November 6, 2013. The printed size is 113. This checklist is longer, at 140 cards. The listed rarity is Rare.

The attack Fortunate Draw lists no damage number. The cost is Psychic. You and your opponent play Rock-Paper-Scissors. The player who wins draws 3 cards. The player who loses discards the top 3 cards of his or her deck. Miracle Wing is another attack lists 60 damage. The cost is Psychic, Colorless, Colorless. Flip a coin. If heads, the Defending Pokémon is now Confused. Weakness is Psychic ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "This odd Pokémon can see both the past and the future. It eyes the sun's movement all day."

Xatu (#178) has 19 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 17 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2000 to 2024. The earliest other card is Xatu 52/111 in Neo Genesis (2000). That card lists 80 HP, and this one lists 90 HP. The rarity there is Uncommon, and here it is Rare. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and Kouki Saitou illustrated this one. 17 other cards of Xatu list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Kouki Saitou. I count 652 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Legendary Treasures set binder is where a full Legendary Treasures set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Xatu can fill a slot in Generation 2 binder (Johto). I still need this card.
