Shaymin-EX RC21/113 · Legendary Treasures

Legendary Treasures is a set in the Black & White series. It was released on November 6, 2013. The printed size is 113. This checklist is longer, at 140 cards. Shaymin-EX is RC21/113, in position 136 of 140 on this checklist. Before it is RC20 Elesa, and after it is RC22 Reshiram. The listed rarity is Rare Ultra.

Shaymin-EX is a Basic EX Grass Pokémon with 110 HP. In the Pokédex this is Shaymin (#492), generation 4 (Sinnoh).

Kanako Eo illustrated this card. The same name is on 99 other cards in the catalog.

Shaymin (#492) has 34 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 20 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2007 to 2026. The earliest other card is Shaymin LV.X DP39/56 in DP Black Star Promos (2007). That card is named Shaymin LV.X, while this one is Shaymin-EX. Both list 110 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Rare Ultra. Shizurow illustrated that card, and Kanako Eo illustrated this one. 26 other cards of Shaymin list a different HP.

The attack Synthesis lists no damage number. The cost is Grass. Search your deck for a Grass Energy card and attach it to 1 of your Pokémon. Shuffle your deck afterward. Revenge Blast is another attack lists 30+ damage. The cost is Grass, Colorless. Does 30 more damage for each Prize card your opponent has taken. Weakness is Fire ×2. Resistance is Fighting -20. Retreat cost is 1. The card text says: Pokémon-EX rule: When a Pokémon-EX has been Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.

I keep a set binder for Legendary Treasures, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Legendary Treasures set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Shaymin can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). I still need this card.
