Banette 4/108 · Power Keepers

Banette is Pokédex #354, generation 3 (Hoenn). Banette is a Stage 1 Psychic Pokémon with 70 HP. The card says it evolves from Shuppet. In this catalog that name is Shuppet (#353).

Banette sits at 4/108 in Power Keepers, position 4 of 108. Before it is 3 Armaldo, and after it is 5 Blaziken. The set belongs to the EX series. It was released on February 2, 2007. The printed size is 108, and the checklist is the same length. The listed rarity is Rare Holo.

The attack Grudge lists 20+ damage. The cost is Psychic, Colorless. Does 20 damage plus 10 more damage for each Prize card your opponent has taken. Bench Manipulation is another attack lists 40× damage. The cost is Psychic, Psychic, Colorless. Your opponent flips a number of coins equal to the number of his or her Benched Pokémon. This attack does 40 damage times the number of tails. This attack's damage isn't affected by Weakness or Resistance. Weakness is Darkness ×2. Resistance is Fighting -30. Retreat cost is 1.

Banette (#354) has 23 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 17 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2004 to 2026. The earliest other card is Banette 1/101 in Hidden Legends (2004). Both list 70 HP. Both list the rarity Rare Holo. Midori Harada illustrated that card, and Ken Sugimori illustrated this one. 21 other cards of Banette list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Ken Sugimori. I count 1,112 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Power Keepers set binder is where a full Power Keepers set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Banette can fill a slot in Generation 3 binder (Hoenn). I still need this card.
