Shaymin 7/73 · Shining Legends

Shining Legends is a set in the Sun & Moon series. It was released on October 6, 2017. The printed size is 73. This checklist is longer, at 81 cards. Shaymin is 7/73, in position 7 of 81 on this checklist. Before it is 6 Carnivine, and after it is 8 Virizion. The listed rarity is Rare Holo.

Shaymin is a Basic Grass Pokémon with 70 HP. In the Pokédex this is Shaymin (#492), generation 4 (Sinnoh).

Mizue illustrated this card. The same name is on 184 other cards in the catalog.

Shaymin (#492) has 34 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 20 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2007 to 2026. The earliest other card is Shaymin LV.X DP39/56 in DP Black Star Promos (2007). That card is named Shaymin LV.X, while this one is Shaymin. That card lists 110 HP, and this one lists 70 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Rare Holo. Shizurow illustrated that card, and Mizue illustrated this one. 20 other cards of Shaymin list a different HP.

The attack Flippity Flap lists no damage number. The cost is Grass. Shuffle your hand into your deck. Then, draw 6 cards. Rally Back is another attack lists 30+ damage. The cost is Grass, Colorless. If any of your Pokémon were Knocked Out by damage from an opponent's attack during their last turn, this attack does 90 more damage. Weakness is Fire ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "It can dissolve toxins in the air to instantly transform ruined land into a lush field of flowers."

I keep a set binder for Shining Legends, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Shining Legends set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Shaymin can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). I still need this card.
