Registeel 96/168 · Celestial Storm

Registeel is Pokédex #379, generation 3 (Hoenn). Registeel is a Basic Metal Pokémon with 120 HP.

Registeel sits at 96/168 in Celestial Storm, position 97 of 187. Before it is 95 Metagross, and after it is 97 Jirachi ◇. The set belongs to the Sun & Moon series. It was released on August 3, 2018. The printed size is 168. This checklist is longer, at 187 cards. The listed rarity is Rare.

Exoskeleton is listed as Ability. This Pokémon takes 20 less damage from attacks (after applying Weakness and Resistance). The attack Silver Fist lists 60+ damage. The cost is Metal, Colorless, Colorless. If your opponent's Active Pokémon has an Ability, this attack does 60 more damage. Weakness is Fire ×2. Resistance is Psychic -20. Retreat cost is 3. The flavor text reads "Its body is said to be harder than any kind of metal. A study has revealed that its body is hollow."

Registeel (#379) has 13 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 12 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2004 to 2026. The earliest other card is Registeel ex 99/101 in Hidden Legends (2004). That card is named Registeel ex, while this one is Registeel. That card lists 90 HP, and this one lists 120 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo EX, and here it is Rare. Mitsuhiro Arita illustrated that card, and Shin Nagasawa illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 2, and here it is 3. 12 other cards of Registeel list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Shin Nagasawa. I count 303 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Celestial Storm set binder is where a full Celestial Storm set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Registeel can fill a slot in Generation 3 binder (Hoenn). I still need this card.
