Jirachi V 170/189 · Astral Radiance

Jirachi is Pokédex #385, generation 3 (Hoenn). Jirachi V is a Basic V Psychic Pokémon with 180 HP.

Jirachi V sits at 170/189 in Astral Radiance, position 170 of 216. Before it is 169 Hisuian Typhlosion V, and after it is 171 Machamp V. The set belongs to the Sword & Shield series. It was released on May 27, 2022. The printed size is 189. This checklist is longer, at 216 cards. The listed rarity is Rare Ultra.

Wish Connector is listed as Ability. When 1 of your Basic Pokémon V is Knocked Out by damage from an attack from your opponent's Pokémon, you may move a basic Energy card from that Pokémon to another of your Pokémon. The attack Hypnostrike lists 60 damage. The cost is Psychic, Colorless. Both Active Pokémon are now Asleep. Weakness is Darkness ×2. Resistance is Fighting -30. Retreat cost is 1. The card text says: V rule: When your Pokémon V is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards. The regulation mark is F.

Jirachi (#385) has 29 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 23 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2003 to 2026. The earliest other card is Jirachi 21/40 in Nintendo Black Star Promos (2003). That card is named Jirachi, while this one is Jirachi V. That card lists 50 HP, and this one lists 180 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Rare Ultra. Atsuko Nishida illustrated that card, and N-DESIGN Inc. illustrated this one. 29 other cards of Jirachi list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads N-DESIGN Inc.. I count 68 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Astral Radiance set binder is where a full Astral Radiance set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Jirachi can fill a slot in Generation 3 binder (Hoenn). Themed lists that include this exact card are Mythical Pokémon, from Sword & Shield on. I still need this card.
