Leafeon VMAX 8/203 · Evolving Skies

Leafeon is Pokédex #470, generation 4 (Sinnoh). Leafeon VMAX is a VMAX Grass Pokémon with 310 HP. The card says it evolves from Leafeon V. In this catalog that name is Leafeon (#470).

Leafeon VMAX sits at 8/203 in Evolving Skies, position 8 of 237. Before it is 7 Leafeon V, and after it is 9 Petilil. The set belongs to the Sword & Shield series. It was released on August 27, 2021. The printed size is 203. This checklist is longer, at 237 cards. The listed rarity is Rare Holo VMAX.

The attack Grass Knot lists 60× damage. The cost is Grass, Colorless. This attack does 60 damage for each Colorless in your opponent's Active Pokémon's Retreat Cost. Max Leaf is another attack lists 170 damage. The cost is Grass, Grass, Colorless. Heal 30 damage from this Pokémon. Weakness is Fire ×2. Retreat cost is 2. The card text says: VMAX rule: When your Pokémon VMAX is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 3 Prize cards. The regulation mark is E.

Leafeon (#470) has 33 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 19 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2008 to 2025. The earliest other card is Leafeon 7/100 in Majestic Dawn (2008). That card is named Leafeon, while this one is Leafeon VMAX. That card lists 90 HP, and this one lists 310 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Rare Holo VMAX. Kouki Saitou illustrated that card, and PLANETA Tsuji illustrated this one. 31 other cards of Leafeon list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads PLANETA Tsuji. I count 81 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Evolving Skies set binder is where a full Evolving Skies set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Leafeon can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). Themed lists that include this exact card are Eevee and the Eeveelutions. I still need this card.
