SWSH Black Star Promos is a set in the Sword & Shield series. It was released on November 15, 2019. The printed size is 307. This checklist is longer, at 304 cards. Donphan is a Stage 1 Fighting Pokémon with 150 HP. In the Pokédex this is Donphan (#232), generation 2 (Johto). The card says it evolves from Phanpy. In this catalog that name is Phanpy (#231).

Eri Yamaki illustrated this card. The same name is on 39 other cards in the catalog.

Donphan (#232) has 20 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 19 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2000 to 2026. The earliest other card is Donphan 21/111 in Neo Genesis (2000). That card lists 70 HP, and this one lists 150 HP. The rarity there is Rare, and here it is Promo. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and Eri Yamaki illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 3, and here it is 4. 15 other cards of Donphan list a different HP.

The attack Earthquake lists 120 damage. The cost is Fighting. This attack also does 20 damage to each of your Benched Pokémon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.) Heavy Impact is another attack lists 90 damage. The cost is Fighting, Colorless, Colorless. Weakness is Grass ×2. Retreat cost is 4. The flavor text reads "The longer and bigger its tusks, the higher its rank in its herd. The tusks take long to grow." The regulation mark is D.

I keep a set binder for SWSH Black Star Promos, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the SWSH Black Star Promos set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Donphan can fill a slot in Generation 2 binder (Johto). I still need this card.
