Leafeon V SWSH194/307 · SWSH Black Star Promos

Leafeon is Pokédex #470, generation 4 (Sinnoh). Leafeon V is a Basic V Grass Pokémon with 210 HP.

Leafeon V sits at SWSH194/307 in SWSH Black Star Promos, position 194 of 304. Before it is SWSH193 Galarian Obstagoon, and after it is SWSH195 Leafeon VSTAR. The set belongs to the Sword & Shield series. It was released on November 15, 2019. The printed size is 307. This checklist is longer, at 304 cards. The listed rarity is Promo.

The attack Leaf Guard lists 30 damage. The cost is Grass. During your opponent's next turn, this Pokémon takes 30 less damage from attacks (after applying Weakness and Resistance). Slashing Strike is another attack lists 180 damage. The cost is Grass, Grass, Colorless. During your next turn, this Pokémon can't use Slashing Strike. Weakness is Fire ×2. Retreat cost is 2. The card text says: V rule: When your Pokémon V is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards. The regulation mark is F.

Leafeon (#470) has 33 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 19 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2008 to 2025. The earliest other card is Leafeon 7/100 in Majestic Dawn (2008). That card is named Leafeon, while this one is Leafeon V. That card lists 90 HP, and this one lists 210 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Promo. Kouki Saitou illustrated that card, and PLANETA Yamashita illustrated this one. 32 other cards of Leafeon list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads PLANETA Yamashita. I count 20 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

SWSH Black Star Promos set binder is where a full SWSH Black Star Promos set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Leafeon can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). Themed lists that include this exact card are Eevee and the Eeveelutions. I still need this card.
