Entei 4/132 · Secret Wonders

Secret Wonders is a set in the Diamond & Pearl series. It was released on November 1, 2007. The printed size is 132, and the checklist is the same length. Entei is 4/132, in position 4 of 132 on this checklist. Before it is 3 Charizard, and after it is 5 Flygon. The listed rarity is Rare Holo.

Entei is a Basic Fire Pokémon with 80 HP. The card lists level 43. In the Pokédex this is Entei (#244), generation 2 (Johto).

Ryo Ueda illustrated this card. The same name is on 462 other cards in the catalog.

Entei (#244) has 34 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 24 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2026. The earliest other card is Entei 34/53 in Wizards Black Star Promos (1999). Both list 80 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Rare Holo. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and Ryo Ueda illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 1, and here it is 2. 30 other cards of Entei list a different HP.

Burning Coat is listed as Poké-Body. Whenever 1 of your opponent's Pokémon is Knocked Out by damage from Entei's attacks, discard the top 3 cards from your opponent's deck. The attack Blaze Roar lists 60 damage. The cost is Fire, Fire, Fire. Does 20 damage to 1 of your opponent's Benched Pokémon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.) Flip a coin. If tails, discard 2 Fire Energy attached to Entei. Weakness is Water +20. Retreat cost is 2. The flavor text reads "It is said that when it roars, a volcano erupts somewhere around the globe."

I keep a set binder for Secret Wonders, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Secret Wonders set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Entei can fill a slot in Generation 2 binder (Johto). I still need this card.
