Entei 10/147 · Aquapolis

Entei is Pokédex #244, generation 2 (Johto). Entei is a Basic Fire Pokémon with 70 HP.

Entei sits at 10/147 in Aquapolis, position 10 of 182. Before it is 9 Elekid, and after it is 11 Espeon. The set belongs to the E-Card series. It was released on January 15, 2003. The printed size is 147. This checklist is longer, at 182 cards. The listed rarity is Rare.

Pure Body is listed as Poké-Body. To attach a Fire Energy card from your hand to Entei, you must discard an Energy card attached to Entei. (Attach the Fire Energy, and then discard an Energy from Entei.) The attack Burning Fang lists 40 damage. The cost is Fire, Colorless, Colorless. You may flip a coin. If heads, discard a Fire Energy card attached to Entei and the Defending Pokémon is now Burned. Weakness is Water ×2. Retreat cost is 1.

Entei (#244) has 34 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 25 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2026. The earliest other card is Entei 34/53 in Wizards Black Star Promos (1999). That card lists 80 HP, and this one lists 70 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Rare. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and Atsuko Nishida illustrated this one. 32 other cards of Entei list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Atsuko Nishida. I count 408 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Aquapolis set binder is where a full Aquapolis set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Entei can fill a slot in Generation 2 binder (Johto). I still need this card.
