Entei ★ 113/115 · Unseen Forces

Unseen Forces is a set in the EX series. It was released on August 1, 2005. The printed size is 115. This checklist is longer, at 145 cards. Entei ★ is 113/115, in position 115 of 145 on this checklist. Before it is 112 Umbreon ex, and after it is 114 Raikou ★. The listed rarity is Rare Holo Star.

Entei ★ is a Basic Star Fire Pokémon with 80 HP. In the Pokédex this is Entei (#244), generation 2 (Johto).

Masakazu Fukuda illustrated this card. The same name is on 471 other cards in the catalog.

Entei (#244) has 34 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 24 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2026. The earliest other card is Entei 34/53 in Wizards Black Star Promos (1999). That card is named Entei, while this one is Entei ★. Both list 80 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Rare Holo Star. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and Masakazu Fukuda illustrated this one. 30 other cards of Entei list a different HP.

The attack Burning Turn lists 20 damage. The cost is Fire, Colorless. Switch Entei Star with 1 of your Benched Pokémon. Detonation is another attack lists 70 damage. The cost is Fire, Fire, Fire. If you have less Prize cards left than your opponent, discard the top 10 cards from your deck. Weakness is Water ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The card text says: You can't have more than 1 Pokémon Star in your deck.

I keep a set binder for Unseen Forces, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Unseen Forces set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Entei can fill a slot in Generation 2 binder (Johto). I still need this card.
