Entei H8/147 · Aquapolis

Aquapolis is a set in the E-Card series. It was released on January 15, 2003. The printed size is 147. This checklist is longer, at 182 cards. Entei is H8/147, in position 158 of 182 on this checklist. Before it is H7 Electrode, and after it is H9 Espeon. The listed rarity is Rare Holo.

Entei is a Basic Fire Pokémon with 70 HP. In the Pokédex this is Entei (#244), generation 2 (Johto).

Atsuko Nishida illustrated this card. The same name is on 408 other cards in the catalog.

Entei (#244) has 34 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 25 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2026. The earliest other card is Entei 34/53 in Wizards Black Star Promos (1999). That card lists 80 HP, and this one lists 70 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Rare Holo. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and Atsuko Nishida illustrated this one. 32 other cards of Entei list a different HP.

Pure Body is listed as Poké-Body. To attach a Fire Energy card from your hand to Entei, you must discard an Energy card attached to Entei. (Attach the Fire Energy, and then discard an Energy from Entei.) The attack Burning Fang lists 40 damage. The cost is Fire, Colorless, Colorless. You may flip a coin. If heads, discard a Fire Energy card attached to Entei and the Defending Pokémon is now Burned. Weakness is Water ×2. Retreat cost is 1.

I keep a set binder for Aquapolis, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Aquapolis set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Entei can fill a slot in Generation 2 binder (Johto). I still need this card.
