Entei 112/91 · Paldean Fates

Entei is Pokédex #244, generation 2 (Johto). Entei is a Basic Fire Pokémon with 130 HP.

Entei sits at 112/91 in Paldean Fates, position 112 of 245. Before it is 111 Paldean Tauros, and after it is 113 Oricorio. The set belongs to the Scarlet & Violet series. It was released on January 26, 2024. The printed size is 91. This checklist is longer, at 245 cards. The collector number is above the printed set size of 91. The listed rarity is Shiny Rare.

Pressure is listed as Ability. As long as this Pokémon is in the Active Spot, attacks used by your opponent's Active Pokémon do 20 less damage (before applying Weakness and Resistance). The attack Blaze Ball lists 60+ damage. The cost is Colorless, Colorless, Colorless. This attack does 20 more damage for each Fire Energy attached to this Pokémon. Weakness is Water ×2. Retreat cost is 2. The flavor text reads "It is said that when it roars, a volcano erupts somewhere around the globe." The regulation mark is G.

Entei (#244) has 34 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 24 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2026. The earliest other card is Entei 34/53 in Wizards Black Star Promos (1999). That card lists 80 HP, and this one lists 130 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Shiny Rare. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and Ryuta Fuse illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 1, and here it is 2. 28 other cards of Entei list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Ryuta Fuse. I count 98 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Paldean Fates set binder is where a full Paldean Fates set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Entei can fill a slot in Generation 2 binder (Johto). I still need this card.
