Entei 25/217 · Ascended Heroes

Entei is Pokédex #244, generation 2 (Johto). Entei is a Basic Fire Pokémon with 140 HP.

Entei sits at 25/217 in Ascended Heroes, position 25 of 295. Before it is 24 Ethan's Magcargo, and after it is 26 Ethan's Ho-Oh ex. The set belongs to the Mega Evolution series. It was released on January 30, 2026. The printed size is 217. This checklist is longer, at 295 cards. The listed rarity is Rare.

The attack Flare Fall lists 30+ damage. The cost is Fire, Fire. If you have at least 4 Fire Energy in play, this attack does 90 more damage. Weakness is Water ×2. Retreat cost is 3. The flavor text reads "A Pokémon that races across the land. It is said that one is born every time a new volcano appears." The regulation mark is I.

Entei (#244) has 34 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 24 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2024. The earliest other card is Entei 34/53 in Wizards Black Star Promos (1999). That card lists 80 HP, and this one lists 140 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Rare. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and Kazumasa Yasukuni illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 1, and here it is 3. 32 other cards of Entei list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Kazumasa Yasukuni. I count 12 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Ascended Heroes set binder is where a full Ascended Heroes set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Entei can fill a slot in Generation 2 binder (Johto). I still need this card.
